Jetbull Bookmaker Review

jetbull home

Jetbull is a European bookie that specialises in online casino but has a growing sportsbook that is getting more impressive with each passing day. They’ve been online since 2007 and are licensed in both the UK and Malta. They also boast the world’s largest selection of online casino games.

When I say that their sportsbook is getting more impressive all the time I’m not kidding. Jetbull have been given two awards for their sportsbook since it was established. The EGR gave it the Innovation in Sports Betting award, and the following year it won EGR’s Sports Betting Rising Star award.

Welcome Offer - 50% Bonus up to €75

New customers to Jetbull can get a 50% matched deposit bonus of up to €75 (around £55).

How To Claim

In order to take advantage of the Jetbull welcome offer all you need to do is deposit £10 or more into your account. You’ll then find that it will be added to your account automatically.

What Deposit Methods Are Valid For The Bonus?

There are no specific deposit methods that you can’t use for this offer, meaning that all of the deposit methods accepted by Jetbull are valid.

How The Bonus Works

Before you make any bets ensure that the deposit bonus has been added to your account. You’ll then be able to use the bonus funds for any sportsbook event apart from horse racing. The events that you’re betting on must have odds of Evens (2.0) or higher and your deposit plus the bonus funds must be wagered fifteen times before you’ll be able to withdraw them. Only £50 per bet will count towards the wagering requirement.

Regular Jetbull Promotions

Jetbull’s 20% Cashback for Multiples offer is decent way of making the most of placing an accumulator. The basic idea is that if you place a £10 minimum multiple bet of at least two lines with odds of Evens (2.0) or greater then you’ll get 20% compensated from your negative balance. That deal is valid up to £200, too, so it’s a good one.

Desktop Site

I’m in two minds about Jetbull’s website, to be honest. On the one hand I like that it’s smart and sleek and I’m a fan of the black, white and red colour scheme. On the other hand it is very European in its approach to things and you can see that the company’s background is in casino games. There’s the usual set of tabs along the top row that will take you to their casino operation and lottery section, though it’s the sportsbook I’m most interested in.

On the sportsbook page you’ll find quick links to the day’s most interesting bets on the lefthand side, with all sports covered underneath that. Interestingly they tell you how many odds are available in each sport rather than how many events there are, with over 30,000 available on the football as I write this. The main body of the page has popular events separated firstly by sport and then by the country they’re taking place in. It’s slightly counter-intuitive if you’ve used more mainstream bookmakers in the past, but you get used to it after a while.

Mobile App

It’s easy enough to write this section as there is no mobile app. What there is is a site that is formatted especially to be used on mobile phones and, to be honest, it looks similar to a mobile app anyway. It follows a similar design to the desktop site but with the addition of yellow into the colour scheme. It is fast in response to requests and I actually think the whole thing lends itself to mobile usage much more then it does to a desktop computer.

At the top of the sportsbook homepage you’ll find links to live odds, all available odds, popular events and a search function. If you click on the live odds tab you’ll be taken to a page where all in-play events are separated by sport, with a different tab informing you of any upcoming events. The mobile site is really good and though there’s no specific app I’d still recommend you use it if you like to bet on the go.

Live Betting

As you may have gathered by now, Jetbull are proud of their in-play betting options and all roads lead there whether you’re using the desktop site or the website designed for mobile use. It is about as clean and easy to use as any other bookie’s live betting operation, with plenty of lines available on most events.

Live Streaming

At the time of writing there are no live streaming options through Jetbull. That might change in the future.

Markets and Odds

Jetbull’s market is actually surprisingly deep, even if there is a clear lean towards football in their coverage. They offer odds on sports that other companies don’t cover, such as alpine and cross country skiing, as well as on sports that are less popular like floorball.

Their odds leave a lot to be desired, struggling to even compete with most of the bigger bookmakers. You won’t find them near the top of odds comparison sites and, though they aren’t terrible, they’ll never be market leaders when it comes to the odds they offer.

Banking

There are a huge variety of deposit methods available to you to allow you to get funds into your account. Credit cards, Neteller, Skrill, Ecocard, PaySafeCards and bank transfers are all valid. There are no fees to pay whichever you choose and the minimum deposit amount is typically €10.

Other Products

As I said at the start, Jetbull made its name as an online casino so it’s no surprise that this is where its real strength lies. They have a huge number of casino games and slots for you to play as well as a live casino for those who prefer the idea of interacting with a human. There’s also a lottery, should that be something that interests you.

About Jetbull

jetbullJetbull aim to capture the essence of casino games, promoting exciting gaming and betting methods. They are about casino gaming first and foremost and promise the largest selection of casino games in the whole world. Combine that with a sportsbook that has been given two awards by industry experts and you’ve got a well-rounded, thoroughly modern online betting company to turn to.

They are a bookmaker that is not afraid to make flamboyant gestures to attract attention; something that means that their name recognition will improve over the coming years as more and punters learn about them. I would also guess that their welcome bonus and regular promotions will improve alongside their increased brand recognition, as the more people that use them the more they’re able to offer decent deals.

Pros

I’m a big fan of their mobile website and believe it bodes well for any app that they may introduce in the future. It is smooth, responsive and fun to use.  Their customer service is good too, though it’s only available from 8am until 11pm and there’s no phone number, which lets down an otherwise excellent service in my opinion.

Cons

The fact that they do everything in Euros is a bit of a pain, there’s no two ways about it. It means that how much your money is worth changes depending on the exchange rate and what seems like a lot of money one day can be dramatically reduced the next, depending on the political climate. Their odds are also really disappointing.

License & Contact Details

Jetbull’s live chat is good, with customer service agents appearing knowledgeable and helpful on the few occasions I’ve had to turn to them for help. There’s no phone line, however, meaning that you’re reduced to needing to contact them either via said live chat or by email. Live chat is only open from 8am until 11pm, too, so if you’re a late night bettor then you might be disappointed not be able to get some help if needed. That said, their FAQ section is reasonably comprehensive.

Jetbull have a Twitter account but it is only used sporadically. On top of that they only use it for tweeting out information about live or upcoming events. That means that if you’re the sort of person who likes to interact with companies via social media then you’re liable to be frustrated. It’s perhaps somewhat unsurprising that their Facebook account is much the same, so don’t expect a reply via either.

Jetbull’s website is operated and managed by EveryMatrix Software Ltd, which has a UK Gambling Commission license that was issued in 2015. The license number is 39383 and they operate in the UK, Denmark and Malta. If you’d like to write to them then the address you’re looking for is: Suite 10, Level 4, Portomaso Business Tower, Vjal Portomaso, St. Julian’s, STJ 4011, Malta.
